McCarthy Participates in Prom Boutique
Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy joined Nassau Community College (NCC) Marketing and Fashion Students and C.W. Post Social Work Club students to collect donations of formal dresses and accessories for the Long Island Volunteer Center's 7th annual Prom Boutique at NCC. Dresses and accessories collected from this event were distributed to girls of families who may have difficulty affording the costs of attending their high school prom or other special event. McCarthy Honors Women Veterans
Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy honored women who have served the in the military at a ceremony held at Arlington National Cemetery. The event was sponsored by the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues. Women currently serving in each branch of the military were honored for outstanding service.
