Eric Brooks, a student from Hewlett High School was recently awarded a $25,000 scholarship from the Davidson Institute for Talent Development for extraordinary achievements in science. Eric was 1 of 20 selected fellows and met with the Congresswoman during his visit.

Congresswoman McCarthy recently spoke at a Congressional Caucus, hosted by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, in Washington, DC. The event focused on numerous financial issues and legislation.

Rep. McCarthy met with two students from the Fourth Congressional District during thier visit to Washington DC for the National Young Leaders Conference.
