Internship Information and Applications

Congressional internships are a great way for students to learn about our government and to contribute to Congresswoman Lowey’s work on behalf of the 18th district. All internships in Congresswoman Lowey's office are unpaid. Applicants will be contacted for interviews (in person or over the phone) after the application deadlines.

The White Plains office is no longer accepting Summer 2012 Internship Applications.  The White Plains office accepts fall and winter/spring applications on a rolling basis. All applicants for an internship in the White Plains office must be available for an in-person interview.  The DC office is now accepting applications for the fall semester. All applicants for an internship in the DC office must be available for a phone interview.
