Davidson County

Over 626,000 people live in Davidson County according to the 2010 Census.  Known as Music City USA, Nashville and the surrounding areas have a diverse population and many unique attractions that bring millions of tourists to the area each year.

In 1963, the governments of Davidson County and the City of Nashville merged creating the "Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County" or "Metro Nashville."
