About the 5th District
The 5th Congressional District of Tennessee includes most of Davidson County and parts of Cheatham and Wilson Counties. Over 700,000 people live in both rural and urban areas in the heart of Middle Tennessee.
Cheatham County
Known for its beautiful scene views, Cheatham County is "close to everything and away from it all". The 2010 Census reports that 39,105 people call Cheatham County home.
Davidson County
Known as Music City USA, Nashville and the surrounding areas have a diverse population of over 626,000, as well as many unique attractions that bring millions of tourists to the area each year.
Wilson County
Wilson County is one of the fastest growing areas in Tennessee. The 5th District includes the cities of Mt. Juliet and Lebanon.
