The Federal Drug Agents Foundation has established the Special Agent John Capano Memorial Fund to help with the education expenses of the slain agent's children as well as necessary family financial obligations.
Capano, a veteran of the ATF, was shot and killed during a drug store robbery in Seaford on December 31, 2011. Officials said he was most likely the victim of so-called friendly fire.
