5.22.12 Caring for Military Kids With Autism Act |
On Tuesday, May 22, 2012 Congressman
John B. Larson was joined by State Rep.
Cathy Abercrombie and Autism advocates
from all over the state to announce that
his, "Caring for Military Kids With
Autism Act" had passed through the
House of Representatives.
The bill looks to change the military healthcare plan, "TRICARE," so that it will offer increased coverage for families that have children with autism.
