GOODLATTE CONDEMNS ATTACKS ON AMERICANS IN LIBYA & EGYPT
Washington, D.C.: Congressman Bob Goodlatte issued the following statement condemning the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans, and the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Egypt:
“Eleven years after 9/11, these senseless attacks on Americans in Libya and Egypt are a stark reminder that actions by extremists continue to threaten our values of freedom and liberty. Acts of terrorism against America will not be tolerated. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of these brave Americans who were killed in Libya. Their service to our nation will not be forgotten.”
