The Democratic Leader’s press office released this new video, which documents how House Republicans are wasting time with pointless votes and ignoring the top priority for the middle class: jobs.
The House GOP is now holding the middle class tax cuts hostage to more tax breaks for the top 2 percent and companies that send American jobs overseas. The last thing American families need is a $2,200 Republican tax hike, and the last thing our country needs is more economic uncertainty.
It is long past due for Republicans to put the interests of the middle class ahead of the special interests and get to work passing tax cuts for 98 percent of Americans. It is time to stop the nonsense – the clock is ticking.
