The President’s Press Conference: Short on Facts and Leadership

Yesterday, President Obama held a press conference in an effort to position himself for the debt talks that continue in Washington. Rather than offering substantive solutions or demonstrating real leadership, the President chose to demagogue the efforts of House Republicans and ignore the disastrous economic policies of his administration. His misleading claims and distortions earned President Obama two Pinocchios from Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler.
