Melbourne, FL, Nov 9 - Congressman Bill Posey (R-FL) released the following statement in observance of Veteran’s Day:

“On Veteran’s Day, we take time to reflect on the service of so many who answered the call when our nation came calling. Over the years, our military service veterans have given so much to defend our nation and protect our liberties. We owe them all a debt of gratitude.

“This year, I call on all Americans to take this day to reflect on the dedication to our nation shown by our veterans so that America never loses sight of the true meaning of service and sacrifice for country. Like Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day is another stark reminder of the great lengths that our service members have undertaken to serve the nation we love.

“And, may we never forget those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Take a few moments to say a special prayer for our men and women serving in harm’s way today, and make every effort to honor the sacrifices made our beloved military veterans.”
