Menendez Calls Upon Colleagues to Advance Confirmation of Judge Patty Shwartz
Menendez supports filing for cloture vote on New Jersey nominee to federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals

NEWARK– U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) called upon his colleagues today to confirm Patty Shwartz to the federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals as he declared his support for filing for a cloture vote to move Shwartz’s nomination forward toward confirmation.
“I have full confidence in Judge Shwartz’s abilities, experience and acumen. Most importantly, having met with Judge Shwartz on a number of occasions, I know she will be a tremendous addition to our federal appellate courts,” said Senator Menendez. “I fully support advancing Judge Shwartz’s nomination to a cloture vote and call upon my fellow members of the United States Senate to confirm her to the appellate bench as soon as possible.”
