Rep. Kissell Attends Richfield Party in the Park

RICHFIELD, NC – Rep. Larry Kissell (NC-08) attended Richfield Party in the Park on Saturday, enjoying live music and local food while catching up with folks from the area.

The musical entertainment for the event was provided by Monk’s Band and Clay Pigeons Band with food prepared by the Richfield Civitan Club and the Maltons Grove United Methodist Church.

“It was great to be here, enjoying this beautiful fall day with the folks from Richfield,” said Kissell. “It’s always important to keep the community involved and engaged and bringing folks together for a fun event like this is great way to do that. I always enjoy coming to this event and this year certainly lived up to all expectations.”

Richfield Mayor Jim Misenheimer highlighted the event and thanked Kissell for coming.

“This was our 14th annual event and we were very proud with the turnout, seeing many of our neighbors come out and participate,” said Misenheimer. “The point of this event is to create an affordable day of fun for everybody and we really appreciate Congressman Kissell coming out. As far as I can remember he’s made it every year and we are always pleased to have him in town.”
