Rep. Kissell Takes Part in Stars and Stripes Shoot-Out in Norwood

NORWOOD, NC – Rep. Larry Kissell (NC-08) joined members of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation at Fork Farm in Norwood earlier this week for the Stars and Stripes Shoot-Out. The group gathered for a clay shooting competition and an award banquet to honor support of sportsmen’s issues and winners of the competition.

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation is comprised of members of Congress who work to promote and protect the rights of hunters, trappers, and anglers all across America. Kissell has worked with the group as a member of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus to protect Second Amendment rights and access to outdoor sports, as well as education for youth.

“I’m really glad folks got to come out and spend time at The Fork and see all this area has to offer,” said Kissell. “It’s always fun to have friendly competition, and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation never disappoints with its events and its work to educate folks and protect the rights of sportsmen everywhere. I was proud to welcome them here to my home district to shoot and have a great time.”
