Rep. Kissell Welcomes Members of East Montgomery's Class of 1963 to U.S. Capitol

WASHINGTON, DC – Representative Larry Kissell (NC-08) welcomed members of the East Montgomery High School Class of 1963 to Washington last week. Kissell was joined by Gary and Jean Mabe, Winford and Sandra Davis, Richard and Mary Sheffield, Don and Sandy Covington, Fred and Teri Martin and Gerald and Judy Stevens.

“It’s so wonderful to have the opportunity to see folks from home and spend time with such great friends in our nation’s capital,” said Kissell. “These folks in the Class of ’63 graduated with my brother Rick, but our community has a distinct way of keeping so many of us in touch and close through the years. I’m glad my office was able to assist them on their trip and help make their visit to Washington a memorable one.”

While visiting Washington, the group took a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol, visited Mt. Vernon and more. Montgomery County residents who plan to be in the nation’s capital can contact Kissell’s office at 202-225-3715 for more information on tours of the U.S. Capitol and other sites in Washington, D.C.
