ROCKINGHAM, NC – Representative Larry Kissell (NC-08) visited LCB Outfitters in Rockingham on Thursday, meeting with owner Randy Benton. Kissell and Benton discussed the local economy and sportsmen’s issues, as well as Benton’s work to promote hunting and fishing opportunities for young people in the area.
“Hard working folks like Randy and businesses like LCB Outfitters continue to be the backbone of our economy and our communities,” said Kissell. “I enjoyed our discussion about Randy’s business and ways we can all work together to better provide outdoor opportunities to young folks in the community. We’re blessed to live in this part of the world, and I’m glad to see such dedication to promoting all that Richmond County has to offer.”
Benton thanked Kissell for visiting the store and invited him to take part in future outdoor events that Benton helps organize for local children.
“I really appreciate Congressman Kissell visiting our store,” said Benton. “He’s a good man and has always been supportive of gun rights and sportsmen’s issues. We were excited to have him come visit, and would love to have him come out for a hunt with the kids in the near future.”
