Congressman Dana Rohrabacher represents California's scenic 46th District. Stretching along the Pacific coastline of Orange County and Los Angeles from Huntington Beach to the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the district includes Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Seal Beach, Avalon, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills Estates as well as portions of Long Beach, Westminster, Santa Ana and San Pedro.
Aerospace, scientific and research companies, construction, real estate, small manufacturing and tourism are the major economic activities in our district. The Long Beach Port and Los Angeles Port are located here. This port complex is the largest port in the United States and the third largest ports in the world. Our institutions of higher education are topnotch, with California State University Long Beach, Vanguard University of Southern California, Coastline Community College, Golden West College, Long Beach City College, Marymount College, and Orange Coast College all serving our community.
