Press Release: Representative Ross Calls on President Obama to Answer Questions Regarding Attack on Embassy in Libya

Washington, Nov 2 -

Representative Ross Calls on President Obama to Answer Questions Regarding Attack on Embassy in Libya

Washington, DC — Today, U.S. Representative Dennis Ross, along with 53 colleagues, sent a letter to President Barack Obama and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton demanding answers to questions regarding the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.

Rep. Ross issued the following statement:

“After nearly 8 weeks since four Americans were killed, the Obama Administration still has not adequately explained to the American people what happened on the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi. "

“The Administration’s account of the attack on our embassy in Libya has been inconsistent and unclear."

"Today, my colleagues and I are calling on President Obama and Secretary Clinton to simply answer questions and give the American people the reassurance that our government is doing everything it can to learn what happened in Benghazi and prevent future attacks from occurring."
