    • TEAM: T ogether E veryone A chives M ore !!!!!! The Congress needs to stand together. Entitlements: Stop hurting the people how really need, look for cuts in fraud, mismanagement, there’s billions there. You have people working, getting food stamps, and school vouchers, rent assistance, chips and have a fairly new automobile. Please leave the people alone how really need the help.

    • Here's one constituent who would be forever in your debt if you could do something to reinstate the payroll tax holiday. Losing 1000 dollars a year in this economy? Congressman, please do something to reinstate this necessary break for the wage earner.

Congressman Hunter, I saw you on Fox News this morning in which you explained why you did not vote for the recent "compromise" to avert the "fiscal cliff". You pointed out that "compromise" resulted in a 40+ to 1 ratio of new taxes to spending cuts. I can't imagine how anyone felt that is right way to solve our deficit issues. Thank you so much for your firm stand on these fiscal issues as well as standing up for our Second Amendment rights. Please don't let up. On this one, we must get something like a 40+ to 1 ratio of "permanent" cuts to debt increase or it's time to go over the cliff. Once Obama learns a little humility, he will likely become more negotiable. Please hang in there and do what is necessary to get the job done.

I have a friend that is constituent of your district she has a brother that she has been trying to get information on his death since 1969. From what I understand about this matter she has written your office for assistance and has received the same run around from your office as well as others in our federal government . It is a crying shame that man that was willing to sacrifice his life for his country and a member of the armed forces at the time cannot have his sister get information on his death. To advise her after a long period of time to get assistance from another congressman is passing the buck. Man up Marine and say what you mean Semper Fi.

  3. Today, the House passed my bill, H.R. 4062, to name the Post Office in Ramona, California, for Nelson "Mac" MacWilliams--a 22 year Navy veteran, dedicated community leader, and former staffer of mine. Mac died tragically on December 20 last year. The bill now goes to the Senate.
