U.S. Deploys Raptor Stealth Fighters to Okinawa (Global Research)

TOKYO: Nine U.S. F-22 stealth fighters were stationed at the U.S. Air Force's Kadena base in Japan's Okinawa for a four-month deployment, local media reported late Monday.

SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 14, 2013) - The forward-deployed dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) departs Sasebo for a Western Pacific patrol. Tortuga will take part in an amphibious integration training (AIT) and certification exercise (CERTEX) and will also participate in the annual multinational combined joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
