The program works in conjunction with George Mason University's LIFE Program, and gives interns the opportunity to assist my staff with various office tasks. - Today the House is voting on H.R. 6429, the STEM Jobs Act, which will award 55,000 visas to foreign graduates of U.S. universities with doctoral and masters degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This legislation, by my colleague Lamar Smith from Texas, will boost our nation’s access to top talent and sources of creativity that will create more jobs.
