As a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, I am a strong supporter of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Throughout my six terms in Congress, I have consistently voted against reckless gun control measures. The U.S. Constitution states very plainly, “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” I remain fully committed to protecting this right.
