Greenville Technology plans to hire approximately 325 employees by 2016

Washington, DC – U.S. Congressman Mike Pence congratulated Greenville Technology, Inc. and the city of Anderson for the announcement today that Greenville Technology will open a facility in Anderson next January with plans to hire approximately 325 employees by 2016. Pence's statement follows:

"I want to congratulate Greenville Technology, Inc. on its choice of Anderson, Indiana, as the site of its new facility. This announcement is welcome news for the city of Anderson, and it confirms my belief that Anderson is a great place to do business. The people of Anderson are exceptional workers who will prove to be a tremendous asset to Greenville Technology, which is already well-known for the integrity of its products and workforce.

"I want to thank Governor Daniels and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for helping make Indiana one of the best places in this country to do business. I also want to congratulate Mayor Smith and the Anderson City Administration, including Economic Development Director Greg Winkler and Rob Sparks for leading the Corporation for Economic Development. Greenville Technology, Inc. (GTI), which designs and manufactures a variety of interior and exterior components for the automobile industry, will invest $21.37 million to construct and equip an injection molding and assembly facility on a 25-acre parcel in Anderson's Flagship Certified Technology Park. The company expects to start construction on the 150,000 square-foot plant this month and plans to begin production in January 2013. The new facility is projected to produce 500,000 finished goods by the end of its first year of operations.
