2012 Service Academy Appointees

The application period for the Class of 2017 is closed. Nomination letters will be mailed to candidates in early January.

Application forms for the Class of 2018 will be available in the Spring of 2013. If you have not yet requested an application, please do so immediately: Click here to fill out the Candidate Registration form, and begin the process.

I feel that one of the highest privileges a young person can experience is attending one of the United States service academies. Our volunteer armed forces need strong leadership and I am honored to have the opportunity to nominate 10 students each year, to each of the four service academies: Army, Navy, Air Force and Merchant Marine.

If you are interested in applying for a nomination, submit your contact information through the webform on this Web site. My Academy Coordinator will keep your information on file and share important dates and information with you; for example, the date of my next Academy Day (Spring 2013). Note that rising high school juniors, sophomores and others who will not graduate in 2013 will receive a “draft” copy of the application to aide them in planning their coursework and timeline for academy applications.
