    The ceremony will take place on Monday, January 21st on the west side of the Nation’s Capitol.

  • How do I get tickets to the 57th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony?
    Tickets are free and distributed through the offices of Senators and Representatives of the 113th Congress.

  • How is your office allocating tickets?
    My office will conduct a lottery to allocate Inauguration tickets. To enter the lottery for these tickets please click HERE

  • If my name is drawn, how many tickets will I receive?
    Each person who receives tickets through my office’s lottery will receive up to four tickets.

  • How will the tickets be distributed?
    Tickets will be allocated through a lottery. The drawing will take place on Monday, December 17th. The deadline for applying is Sunday December 16th.

  • When will I be notified if my name was drawn?
    Winners will be notified by our office on Tuesday, December 18th.

  • Can I watch the Inauguration Ceremony without a ticket?
    If you do not have a ticket you can still view the Swearing-In Ceremony from the National Mall beginning on Fourth Street NW . To view the map please click HERE

  • How can I get to the Swearing-in Ceremony?
    The Swearing-in Ceremony draws large crowds and public parking is very limited. Walking or using public transportation is often the best way to reach the Inauguration Ceremony. The closest metro stations are Union Station on the red line and Capitol South on the blue and orange lines.

  • What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
    It is recommended that you arrive early because of the large crowds and long security lines.

  • What is the average temperature on Inauguration day?
    The average high temperature on Inauguration day is 43 degrees and the average low is 24 degrees.

  • How do I participate in the Inauguration Parade?
    The Joint Task Force-National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) has begun accepting applications from organizations wishing to apply to participate in the parade. This includes bands, marching and mounted units, and floats. To apply, click HERE.
