El Paso Museum of Archeology
The El Paso Museum of Archaeology will have four-day archaeology camps from 9 a.m. to noon on the following weeks: June 22-25 and July 27-30 for ages 6-8, and July 13-16 and Aug. 10-13 for ages 9-12. Cost: $70 for non-museum members, and $55 for museum members.

UTEP Community Youth Enrichment Programs
The University of Texas at El Paso Professional and Continuing Education department has a variety of sports camps and other camps. Parents are encouraged to register their children early. Camps include Golddigger dance camp, soccer and swim, cooking, photography and dance.

El Paso Kids-n-Co. Theatre camp
El Paso Kids-N-Co. always has two-week theater camps for younger children as well as teens in the summer. The camps teach the basics of theater including building a set, making costumes and rehearsing a full-length play.

Campers will explore the world of "Lions and Meerkats" featuring the secret lives of our African Lions and the playful gang of Meerkats. Zoo campers will also have the opportunity to visit behind the scenes, converse with zoo keepers, participate in animal presentations, work on crafts, play games, enjoy healthy snacks and receive an official zoo camp T-shirt.

Mad Science
Mad Science will have a variety of summer camps in June and July in a variety of topics including CSI Super Sleuth, Earth and Animal Kingdom, NASA, and Red-Hot Robots. Costs: $75 on up.

Downtown (Main) El Paso Public Libraries
At the Main Library you will find a wide variety of services from reference and information to genealogy. The Main Library houses the internationally recognized Southwest collection, as well as other special collections. Internet computers, meeting rooms, and assistive technology are also available.

Language Plus
Language Plus will have weekly language camps from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., starting June 15. Camps are in English as a Second Language, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin Chinese and Korean. Cost: $85 per week, plus $10 registration fee.

At The Clayground, a “paint your own pottery” studio, offers fun and creative activities for kids and adults. No previous experience is needed. Prices are generally all inclusive. One price includes the ceramic piece of your choice, use of paints, brushes, and all other tools, glazing and firing.

Club Rec Summer Camp
Club Rec Summer Camp develops the mind, body and spirit of children 6 to 12 years of age in El Paso. The weekly fee is $40 per child per week, and the Teen Mentoring Program for youth ages 13-16 is $20 per child per week. There are scholarships available for families that meet HUD (low income) guidelines.
