On May 25, 2011, the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management considered and approved the following measure:

• H.R. 1734, The Civilian Property Realignment Act, a bill to establish a framework through which a BRAC-like commission would independently review federal properties and make recommendations for consolidations, co-locations, redevelopement, selling or other actions to minimize costs.
