On June 4, 2012, Chairman Mica sent a letter to Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator John Pistole to express his disappointment with the agency's lack to transparency regarding the security lapse involving as many as 43 TSA employees at the Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, FL.
