The Senate Radio-Television Gallery is one of four press rooms or "galleries" serving as newsrooms for members of the news media who cover the Senate. The most important role we play is serving as a liaison between Congressional offices and members of the media. As you probably know, most major broadcast news organizations have regularly staffed bureaus in this office.

Under Senate Rules, the Senate Radio-Television Gallery, like the other Senate and House media galleries, is under the control of an Executive Committee of correspondents. Journalists administer the Gallery and decide who qualifies for Gallery press credentials.

If you have not done so already, we invite you to visit our office, to meet our staff and, most important, to meet the members of the Radio-Television Gallery who regularly work in the Senate Gallery.

Sincerely,

Mike Mastrian,
Director
