Relatives of radicalized Muslim Americans who engaged in terrorism will testify at a House hearing intent on putting "a human face" on the dangers of extremists in our midst, Rep. Peter King said yesterday.

"This shows the reality on the ground," said King (R-LI), who has come under fire since announcing the hearing.

Abdirizak Bihi will testify that members of his community did not cooperate with a federal investigation into the actions of his nephew, Burhan Hassan, of Minneapolis, who joined a terror group in Somalia in 2008.

"He'll show how the community did not help. They tried to obstruct the FBI," King said.

Also scheduled to speak is Melvin Bledsoe, whose son, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, formerly Carlos Bledsoe, allegedly killed a US Army recruiter in Arkansas.
