Emerson Defends Amendment to Defund Health Care Law's Individual Mandate

  U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) in Congress today defended her amendment to prevent the Internal Revenue Service from spending funds to implement the individual mandate that every American purchase health insurance under the health care law enacted in 2010.
