While specific tour times and dates cannot be guaranteed, below is information on the tours that my office can assist with scheduling on your behalf during your trip to Washington, D.C.

United States Capitol
Tours start at the brand new Capitol Visitors Center. They are offered Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a guided tour which includes the Crypt, the Rotunda and Statuary Hall. It can be booked online or through my office.

House of Representatives Gallery
Come see where Representatives vote on legislation and debate the issues. My office offers a staff-led tour of the gallery or passes can be obtained to visit on your own time.

The White House
The White House offers self-guided East Wing tours to the general public. Tours are not offered on Sundays or Mondays and are scheduled only with the White House's approval. Congressional offices can request a tour for constituents and the White House will schedule them on a first-come, first-serve basis. The White House will not accept requests less than a month in advance. During peak season especially (March through August), tours fill up very fast so a 6-month advance notice is preferable. (Note: tours are extremely limited and not guaranteed even with early notice; groups with approved tours are subject to background security checks and last minute cancellation due to White House special events, emergencies, or White House scheduling changes).

Library of Congress
The Library of Congress is the world's largest and most open research library, and millions of scholars, readers and tourists visit the Library of Congress annually. Our country's national library contains over 75 million volumes. The Library of Congress offers special Congressional tours Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m., 1:45 p.m., and 3:45 p.m., when requested through my office.

National Cathedral
The National Cathedral is the second-largest Gothic cathedral in the United States. From the cathedral you may view the nation's capital or simply enjoy the peaceful gardens and the beauty of the cathedral itself. The National Cathedral offers Congressional tours, Monday and Wednesday, beginning promptly at 9 a.m. Regular fees apply. ($3 per adult, $2 per senior citizen, and $1 per child).

Pentagon
Take a guided tour of the Pentagon, and see the mission of the Department of Defense and each of its branches of service. Group tours are offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and normally last about 45 to 60 minutes. The Pentagon will not accept tour requests less than 2 weeks in advance, tours do not operate on federal holidays and weekends. Tours can be booked online or through my office and all groups will be subjected to background security checks.

U.S. Supreme Court
This impressive building of white marble houses the highest court in the land. The general public can submit a tour request through their Congressional office for a special Congressional Lecture. The U.S. Supreme Court offers Congressional Lectures, Monday through Friday at 2:00 p.m., when the Court is not hearing Oral Argument. This tour can only be scheduled for groups of 6 or less.

Bureau of Engraving & Printing
See how our United States currency is printed. Congressional offices can request a tour for constituents and the Bureau will schedule them on a first-come, first-serve basis. During peak season especially (March through August), tours fill up very fast so a 6-month advance notice is preferable. Open Monday through Friday with Congressional tours starting at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 4:45 p.m. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing can only book Congressional tours for groups of 10 or less. The Bureau is closed on weekends, all Federal holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Years.
