Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. David Price (D-NC), ranking member of the House Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, released the following statement on the killing of Al-Qaeda head and 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden.

"For decades Osama bin Laden terrorized the world, killing men, women and children in the name of a perverse and fanatical ideology. The horrific events of September 11 and the bombing of the USS Cole are burned into the memory of all Americans. Today we have achieved a measure of justice. We honor and thank our Commander-in-Chief, members of our armed services, intelligence and security professionals and others who have carried out this remarkable operation."
