The Village of Ridgefield Park is a community of over 12,000
residents located along the Hackensack
River. Of all New Jersey's municipalities, Ridgefield Park
is one of only four villages.
Ridgefield Park is home to the longest-running annual Fourth of
July Parade in New Jersey and one of the
longest in the United States.
Planning for the parade, which began in 1894, begins months in advance with a
citizens committee and the festivities last from morning until night.
You can read more about this municipality, learn about its
local government, and more at the Village of Ridgefield Park website: http://www.ridgefieldpark.org
