Park, an 811-acre park that stretches
from Leonia to Palisades Park, Ridgefield
Park, and Teaneck. The annual community event known as
the New Jersey Chu'sok Festival often takes place in Palisades Park.
The Festival was first launched in September 2002 to celebrate the traditional
Korean holiday of Chu'sok, which is the equivalent of the American holiday of
Thanksgiving. Over 35% of the diverse population of Palisades
Park is Korean American, the highest
percentage of Korean Americans in any community in the United States.
