Education

The education of our children will define our nation’s success. While education remains a national issue, I believe the best decisions are made at the local level. As the 112th Congress reexamines No Child Left Behind and other federal education policies, I will work to ensure that the primary role and responsibility for our children’s education remains with our families, states, and local communities.

I also strongly believe that parents should have a choice of where they send their children to school, and I am proud that Arizona continues to lead the way with new and innovative school choice reforms. We must work to tear down the bureaucratic roadblocks that our school administrators and teachers face, and strive to provide educational programs that are both effective and efficient.
