2011 Presidential Citizens Medal
The White House is seeking citizen nominees for the 2011
Presidential Citizens Medal. The Citizens Medal is the
nation's second highest civilian honor, and last year 13 Americans
were awarded based on their outstanding service to their
communities.

community for the 2011 Citizens medal, you can follow the link to

website also provides examples of prior Citizens medal
