Cuyahoga County Airport gets FAA grant

U.S. Rep. Steven C LaTourette (OH-14) today announced  the Cuyahoga County Airport will be the recipient of a $761,665 federal grant from the FAA for an environmental assessment to evaluate environmental issues related to a proposed runway (6-24) safety area and improvement project.

The same grant will also fund a runway obstruction study.  The Cuyahoga County Airport is a reliever airport for Cleveland Hopkins.   The 660-acre airport is 11 miles from downtown Cleveland and is located in Richmond Heights, Highland Heights and Willoughby Hills
