Instructions for ordering a United States Flag

 
If you are a resident of the District of Columbia, please contact my Legislative Office at (202) 225-8050 and speak to Jaren Hill regarding arranging for a U.S. flag to be flown over the U.S. Capitol.  If you do not live in D.C., contact your Member of Congress http://www.house.gov/writerep.

Note: In order to place a request for a US flag to be flown over the US Capitol, you must send a money order only.  Please do not send a check, because it will be returned to you.  Make money order payable to: Congresswoman Norton's Office Supply Account.

Each flag, flown over the US Capitol, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Please indicate wording on the certificate. For example:

You may mail or drop off your flag order and money order to the address below.  Since 9/11, all mail delivery to Congress has been delayed, therefore you must allow ample time for all flag requests placed in the mail.  Please allow three weeks for delivery after the flag has been flown over the Capitol.
