White House Tour Form

Before making a tour request, please note:

The White House receives many requests. To increase your chances of receiving a tour, we recommend making yourself available on as many days as possible. The greater your flexibility, the greater your chance of participating in a tour. The White House Visitor's Center approves tours on a first come, first served basis.

Tours scheduled three to six months in advance do not necessarily guarantee a request acceptance. Tours requested less than a month in advance will be automatically denied.

Tours are typically 45 minutes in length and take place Tuesday through Saturday between 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM. The White House does not offer tours on Sundays, Mondays and Federal Holidays.

** Our office will notify you as soon as we are contacted by the White House visitor's Center concerning your tour request. Do not expect a decision until approximately two weeks prior to your requested tour dates. We will try our hardest to contact you with information as soon as possible**

Once the request is submitted, the number of people allowed on the tour cannot be changed. If you have any changes in regards to the day or the tour or the amount of people, you must re-submit your tour application to our office. Please note that tour schedules are always dependent on official events taking place in the White House. Occasionally, it may be necessary to deviate from the regular tour schedule, or reschedule a tour.

The White House reserves the right to cancel a scheduled tour, and all attendees will be subjected to a background check by the United States Secret Service. If deemed non admittable, the White House reserves the right to deny entry.

Please understand that a tour request acceptance or denial is solely at the discretion of the White House Visitors Center. Our office can neither control the day nor time of your White House tour.
