The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

I am proud to have worked with my Congressional colleagues to pass the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which President Obama signed into law in February 2009.  Since becoming law, the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimates that ARRA has added 3.3. million jobs to the economy and increased Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 4.5%.
