Rep. Stark Honored by Food Policy Action
One of Only Fifty Members of the House and Senate to Receive a 100%Score on the National Food Policy Scorecard

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) released the following statement in response to receiving a 100% rating on the National Food Policy Scorecard from Food Policy Action. The scorecard is compiled from votes on critical food policy issues, including votes protecting nutrition assistance, limiting corporate welfare to large agri-business, and improving food safety. It was developed by the Food Policy Action Vote Advisory Council of food policy experts.

“All families deserve to have safe, healthy, and affordable food choices. I'm proud to be one of the 50 Members of Congress to vote the right way 100% of the time on food policy issues. I will keep working to prevent hunger, keep our food safe, and support sustainable farming practices,” said Rep. Stark.
