Congressman Pastor's Citizenship Assistance

The date has not been determined for the NEXT CITIZENSHIP DAY EVENT in 2013.

A date will be posted by August of 2013.

Congressman Ed Pastor holds a Citizenship Day about once a year where legal, permanent residents who are eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship may receive assistance with their naturalization application (N-400) at no cost.

During Citizenship Day, a one-stop center is created with the assistance of more than 100 community volunteers who help complete and review the applications.

To participate, an applicant must understand the requirements for U.S. citizenship and come prepared to the event with the information requested and supporting documents. In addition, applicants must be able to pay the fee charged by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service to process the application.

The event is by appointment only and is tentatively scheduled to be held in the fall.

Individuals who are interested in receiving this assistance should follow the links below and read the information thoroughly to determine if this is a service they are ready to seek.
