Summer Internship Application Deadlines Announced

Applications due March 15 and April 6, 2012

My staff and I realize the value of the hands-on learning experience attained from a Congressional internship. Therefore we encourage college students to apply for an opportunity to work in either our Washington, D.C. or District offices.

All internships are non-paying positions and are available throughout the year. We prefer that our applicants be Pennsylvania residents with ties to the 15th District, but exceptions may be made depending on the qualifications of the applicant.

To apply for one of our internships, please submit a resume, two letters of reference with contact information, and a completed application.

Please mail your completed packet to the office of where you would like to intern. While we do not have an application deadline*, we do strongly encourage those interested to apply as soon as possible in order to make any necessary housing arrangements.

* Due to the large number of applications and logistics involved with internships in our Washington, D.C. office, I encourage interested applicants to try to adhere to the following application deadlines for Summer 2012 internships:

- Early Summer (May 28 - July 13): Monday, March 15

- Late Summer (July 16 – August 31): Monday, April 6
