On Tuesday, November 17, 2009, the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and the Domestic Policy Subcommittee held a joint hearing entitled: "Bank of American and Merrill Lynch: How Did a Private Deal Turn Into a Federal Bailout? Part IV"
The hearing examined the events surrounding Bank of America's acquisition of Merrill Lynch and its receipt of Federal Financial Assistance.
