FY10 WRDA Requests

Water Resource Development Act Requests for FY 2010
as received by the office of Congressman Denny Rehberg and in no particular order.

Consistent with the requirements of the House, this page contains all requests made in a timely and documented manner to Congressman Denny Rehberg for federal funding in Fiscal Year 2010. These requests and descriptions were submitted to the office of Congressman Rehberg and are presented primarily as they were submitted. No certification is made as to the accuracy of the project descriptions submitted to Congressman Rehberg's office and no responsibility is assured for grammatical or spelling errors contained in the submission.

The requests have been forwarded to the appropriate Committee of the House and will be considered in the course of the legislative process. It is important to note that no request will be funded until it has been adopted by Congress and signed by the President of the United States. The legislative process ordinarily includes consideration by the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, the full Transportation Committee, the comparable Committees in the Senate, and the full membership of both chambers of the Congress. Each request is competing on its own merits with others on the list and with requests from other Congressional Districts and States. Consequently, only a very limited number of requests on this list will be funded. Moreover, it is also important to note that as bills go through the various stages of the legislative process, they may become unacceptable to Congressman Rehberg as a result of amendments that add unworthy, wasteful or low-priority funding, or include objectionable modifications of federal law or policies, or cause the bill's total funding level to become excessive. If you wish to comment on any of the requests, please contact Congressman Rehberg at (888) 232-2626.
