WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative Steve Southerland, II issued the following statement on the 65^th anniversary of the United States Air Force:

“Today we celebrate the 65^th anniversary of the United States Air Force and remember the countless heroes who have protected our skies.  I am proud to represent airmen from both Tyndall AFB and Eglin AFB in Congress, and remain grateful for the sacrifices they and their families have made for America.  Since 1947, no nation has been kept safer from above.”
