Nevada Senator Harry Reid today discussed this week’s planned confirmation vote on Judge Sonia Sotomayor to be the next Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Judge Sotomayor is a highly qualified nominee whose real world, educational and legal experience will serve her well on the court. As the Senate nears the end of Judge Sotomayor’s confirmation process, Reid will continue leading the fight to ensure her nomination receives a fair, respectful debate.
