Will Columbus lawmakers shrink Lake Erie

The Columbus Dispatch reports that legislation proposed in the state of Ohio could dramatically increase the amount of water that businesses and cities drain from Lake Erie.  Under proposed legislation, new and expanding businesses could draw 5 million gallons a day from the Lake, more than doubling the current cap of 2 million gallons a day.  Some are concerned that less water in Lake Erie could harm the lake, while others think a higher cap could attract new industry.
