Bainbridge Post office operations and jobs to move to Chagrin Falls in June

U.S. Rep. Steven C. LaTourette (OH14) today said he's been notified that the Chagrin Falls Annex of the U.S. Postal Service on Washington Street in Bainbridge is being placed under emergency suspension due to a lease termination.  The move takes place on June 15, 2012, at the close of business.

LaTourette said the Bainbridge operations and jobs will move about 2.3 miles down the road to the Chagrin Falls Post Office, also on Washington Street.

"I know this has been a sensitive issue, but I'm pleased that jobs and operations will be preserved,"  LaTourette said.

For additional information, please contact Dave VanAllen of the postal service at 216-443-4596.
